FAQ

Q. When can my puppy come?

A. This question is more than just one answer, let me explain. Yes, you need to wait for all the puppy shots to be complete before making your first reservation, but there are other things you can do without all the shots. It has been our experience that the earlier you start exposing your puppy the better. Here is how we recommend getting your puppy used to the grooming experience:

Walk-in nail appointment every month | Meet-and-greet your new groomer (basically stop by for a treat and build a relationship) | Walk-in pads shaved

Once your puppy is fully vaccinated it is best to start slow. First a bath, blow-dry and brush out. Second a bath and face trim. Lastly, a body trim. Each puppy is different and it is best to go with how each one responds to the grooming experience.

Q. Can I bring all my dogs at the same time slot?

A. Yes, if you own multiple dogs we can take them in at the same time and we block out time for them to get done together.

Q. Can I bring my own products?

A. Yes. We prefer vegan and hypoallergenic products but if you have specific products you want us to use just let us know.

Q. Do you have breed restrictions?

A. No, we do not. We accept all breeds because every dog deserves pampering.

Q. Do you accept aggressive dogs?

A. Yes. These are done on a case-by-case basis. The first reservation will be an assessment. If we are unable to fulfill service then we will call you and let you know our recommendations. If your dog is a known bitter they will need to be brought in with a muzzle already on and we will discuss what rotation to be on to help build a positive experience. Each is different so there is no “one shoe fits all” type of scenario. We will speak with you about how to achieve the best results together.

Q. Do you accept dogs with disabilities?

A. Yes. We have experience with different disabilities and are willing to take the time needed to get them comfortable for the whole experience. If you have any reservations just let us know and we will work with you.

Q. Do you accept seniors?

A. Yes. We have foam mats for them to lay on, let them lay down while we bathe them and get in the tub if needed. We make all accommodations needed for them to be at peace the whole time.

Q. What is creative grooming?

A. Creative grooming is where you get to turn your dog into anything you can imagine. It’s about thinking outside the box and letting the imagination take over. At the same time it can be something as simple as adding color to just the tail. There are no right or wrong ways to do creative. Let’s make some magic!

Q. Why can’t I get a same day reservation?

A. We are appointment based therefore booked out a minimum of three months in advance. All of our clients are on a rotation of their choice, whether it’s weekly, bi-monthly, every three weeks - whatever works for them, and using their preferences they have outstanding reservations with us. Every now and then we do have a cancellation but the opening is given to a current client that might want to move their reservation up.

Q. Do you accept walk-ins?

A. We do have a few walk-in services: nail trim and file, ear plucking, pad trim, sanitary trim, anal glands and face trim. Full Service options are by appointment only..

Q. Do you offer discounts?

A. We honor our military and first responders with a discount on Top Dog Service and Shed Defender Services.
