Terms of service

Please read carefully

We try to keep this page up-to-date as much as possible. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to us and we will gladly assist you.

 

01.Appointment

Take a moment and look at your day-to-day schedule, what day(s) and time work best for you. This is very important as we would like to keep you on a consistent rotation. We book three months in advance and guarantee those appointments. Of course life happens and adjustments can be made, but it is imperative that we have your slot saved.

Arrival time: you can arrive up to five minutes early, on time or five minutes late. Not adhering to this will result in the loss your appointment.

02.Late Pick-Up

Once your pup(s) are ready for pick-up we will send you an SMS message notifying you that the service has been completed and they are ready for pick-up. If you would like a phone call when they are done let us know so we can add that preference to your file. After 30 minutes a late-fee will be added as we need to keep our kennels empty for the next client and we do not approve of dogs being in kennels longer than they need to.

 

03.Cancellations

A 24 hour notice is required in order to not be charged the cancellation fee. Being appointment based means we calculate every hour of our day. We book in advance and it is hard to fill in a spot when it is last minute.

 

04.Change of service

When we book your appointment we are scheduling a time slot that is for said service, changing service at drop-off can not always be accommodated. Keep this in mind in case you are wanting to try a creative groom, color, change the whole style - basically anything that was not already discussed prior to the appointment. You can call us before your appointment date and see if arrangements can be made to change the service; otherwise it will be for the original booking.

 

05.Dogs in heat

While this is completely natural we cannot accept your dog for service during their heat cycle. This is to ensure the safety of all pets and for sanitary reasons. Be advised if you are unaware that your dog is in heat and we discover it at drop-off you will need to pick up your dog immediately. There will be a fee for not being able to complete service due to your dog in heat.

 

06.Pregnancy

Depending how far along the pregnancy is we can only do so much. This is a very sensitive time and we do not want to cause stress or early labor. Making a reservation for service will be done on a case-by-case basis.

 

07.Fleas and/or ticks

Due to the fact that we have not been able to find a vegan or hypoallergenic form of treatment for fleas and ticks we cannot accept dogs with either. We are still searching the market for a great alternative and will update when, and if, we find a product we can stand by.

 

08.Puppies

Puppies must have all vaccines before receiving service. There are walk=in appointments we can do before the shots: nail trimming, pad trimming, eye trim and sanitary shave. These are done in the lobby while one of us holds the puppy and the groomer does the rest. No puppy is allowed to touch any surface until completely vaccinated but it is great to get them used to the smells, sounds and people at the shop.
